What Do You Think Of This?

If you haven't heard, which I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't since no one else has seemed to hear of it, shortly after the start of the Olympics, Russia started a full-on invasion of the country of Georgia. I personally think there is more to this invasion than what the news and politics are reporting. If we look at history not too far away, Russia invaded Afghanistan, and now is doing almost the same exact thing with Georgia. More than just the US suspect Iran of housing nukes, and the two biggest allies with Iran are Russia and China. This may sound crazy, but I was thinking Russia may be attempting to create a pathway to channel whatever they want to Iran without the worry of anyone else noticing. Another thing I was thinking of is US's plan on going to Iran next. If we do, there is a possibility of pissing off China and Russia. Right now, China has the worlds largest military (people-wise) and Im sure Russia's isnt anything too small. If those two get pissed off enough, we may be seeing the next world war. After all, this is how 1 and 2 started...

Leave your thoughts and opinions unless they are attacking anyone posting. Be mature and serious because this could end up affecting you or nothing could come of it. Either way, just because Russia is becoming hostile does not mean you should follow suit.

Could (will?) turn to a CF. The USA & Russia have been poking this bull in the arse for the last 4-5 years. Training, and secretly equiping the Gerogian forces. (under the guise of opposing Al Quada) Russia regularly invading Gerogian airspace. Israel has been supplying drones to Georgia until a few weeks ago, when they made some deal with Russia to quit (could it involve Russia looking the other way in an IDF end to Iran's nuke program???). I don't think this world needs a whole lot of nations popping away at one-another with UCAV's, that just can't be good. Russia backing a seperatise group in georgia, and the USA pumping goods to the Gerogian gov't... now I am sure that is no good.

Sounds like Georgia is the meat in a war sandwich. Already almost 2000 people have died. All of this craziness has to end quick. We keep telling Russia to back off, but I think Putin is just telling us through diplomatic means to go fuck ourselves this doesnt involve us. Personally, I hope we can talk Russia down because if this shit continues it could escalate.

Nato is rather pissed off at Georgia for starting the conflict in the first place, they launched and shelled an autonomous region of georgia which is south ossetia, originally starting the conflict, they also killed 10 russian peacekeepers and wounded 150, which drew Russia in, the fact that they did it while all the leaders were in beijing for the olympics opening ceremony is definately not going to go well with Russia.


Its also important to point out the dumbass in Georgia who is running the show has declared marshall law, and is very disliked on his own side of the fence, citizens regularily rioted against him. So this could turn into a civil war conflict to almost anything.

Could provide more but i honestly don't see the point, appears our leaders are intent on rape and pillaging us as long as possible, since their actions are screwing us over more.. I know Russia is screwing us too but then again i didn't really expect them not to look out for their best interests...



Should be an interesting year !
